Diaper Cake
My first diaper cake to make. I hosted a Diaper Brunch for one of my church friends this weekend. This is their second child so I thought a Diaper Brunch would be fun since they might have a lot of "changing" to do. I thought the diaper cake turned out good though it was a little smaller than what I had planned. But the brunch was a hit and Mommy racked up a lot of goods!

A Few Things I've Learned When Buying A New Vehicle
Recently we have been in the market for a new vehicle. It makes me remember a few things I've learned personally and through others when it comes to buying a new car.
• A vehicle is NEVER new if it has 500 miles and scratches all over it no matter what the salesman tells you.
• Never stick with just one dealership. Always go between at least two, squeeze them for everything they have, and let the best man when your business.
• Always check for the price of tires when deciding on a vehicle.
• Always make sure that the vehicle has a spare tire... surprisingly, some don't!
• Know your math when they give you a quote. They will take you for being an idiot and make you think you are getting a great deal when you are not. Be on top of their game.
